Cari Cracchiolo, has had a passion for dogs her entire life. As a child, it was glaringly obvious to her that the old school style of aversive dog training was incorrect, and as an adult she has helped progress the positive reinforcement training movement. She knew that introducing dog owners to this more efficient, effective – and humane – style of training was her true calling… and thus Cold Noses Warm Hearts was born.
Cari continually brings to her training the latest methods in positive reinforcement; she is continually honing her skills through involvement with such progressive organizations as APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants). Cari is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator through American Kennel Club and has spent many hours volunteering her services with the Animal Assisted Therapy Program through the American Humane Association, the Max Fund no kill shelter and the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
Cari holds a B.S. in Business Management and has lived in Denver for 20 years. She has recently moved to the Boulder/Nederland area where she hopes to share her knowledge with these dog friendly towns. She enjoys all that this amazing state has to offer with the love of her life and partner in crime, Maximus, her 6-year old German Shepherd. (Mila, who is also pictured, recently passed away but lives on as her heart and motivation.)
